Home Selling Tip no. 01

Home Selling Tip no. 01

Every Room MUST Have a Purpose

-You know that little nook off of your kitchen that you use for extra storage? When trying to sell, make sure the room has a purpose for the new buyers. Maybe try setting up a small office or a two-seater breakfast table.
-What about that tiny room that you use for a walk-in closet? Sure, the buyers may use it for a closet as well, but if its technically a bedroom, they need to see it as a bedroom to understand how it can work for them.

Helping the buyers visualize their options will add to the appeal of your home.
You want them to be able to see themselves inside every room.

My First Blog Post (how cliche)

With a To-Do List a mile long and envelopes to address and send out, I choose today to start my blog. Starting a blog is not on my To-Do list. But when the inspiration and motivation hits, you just have to jump!

That is kind of what I've been doing as of late. I find these sudden bursts of extreme motivation and I can't help but do whatever my mind is telling me to do. Except for the cookies in the break room... My mind said that one was OK, but you'd be proud to know I entered the room and left with only coffee :)
A little about this blog (at least what I intend for it to be): This is not your average Real Estate Blog. You'll be able to follow me to learn about real estate (of course), but I'll also cover the fun stuff. Let's face it, its much more fun to blog about about room design and staging ideas than finances and economics. There will also be the occasional food/fashion posts as well. Just call this blog 'diverse'.
I'll also be taking input from you all! Comment on what you would like to know about and I'll do my best to give you what you want.

Now that 'My First Blog Post' is written, I can write about the fun stuff.. Stay tuned for more!
